The office will empower farmers, FPOs, and exporters with direct global market access and support.
The National Statistical Office (NSO) will conduct two key national surveys from July 2026 to June 2027—the All India Debt and Investment Survey (AIDIS) and the Situation Assessment Survey (SAS) of Agricultural Households. AIDIS will map debt, investment, and wealth patterns across households, while SAS will assess farmers’ income, credit, assets, and technology use.
